Rory Burke

Rory has 15 years experience in recruitment. After graduating from Leeds University he spent nearly 10 years in senior financial recruitment across Yorkshire and the North East which included setting up a new Division for a PLC. From 2001 Rory was Group Operations Director of a Recruitment Process Outsourcing consultancy working with primarily FTSE 100 clients.

Rory joined Imprint Search & Selection in June 2006 to head up the Northern Finance, Strategy & Operations practice and subsequently joined the board of Ardent post the MBO in December 2007. Rory handles roles between £60-150,000.

My Passion

I was brought up on rugby union with a strong family link to London Irish and to this day I remain an avid supporter.

In my earlier playing days I represented London Irish at under 21 level and before moving north managed to be selected for the 1st XV! I also captained my university side, represented the North of England, and coached the university ladies team for good measure.

Outside of rugby I am a member of Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club but play infrequently now due to my young family (and, no doubt, much to the relief of many a greenkeeper!).
