Phil Bainbridge

Graduating with an Economics degree from Exeter University, Phil started his career within an IT consultancy firm and moved into financial recruitment seven years ago with a large international recruitment group.

Initially looking at the Part- and Newly-Qualified markets across the North West he progressed to Senior Consultant before joining Ardent. As Managing Consultant for the North Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside area Phil and his team have been responsible for the continued growth of the business across Part- and Newly-Qualified, Senior Finance and Interim markets. His fourth anniversary with the business is rapidly approaching.

“I think it’s fair to say that my spare time is dominated by The Alps.” Phil says. “Having started Snowboarding 15 years ago I spend the majority of my winter holidays trying to avoid serious injury in Austria or Switzerland. I’m also a keen Mountain Biker and last year competed in The Grand Raid Cristalp a 121km race through the Swiss Alps. This year I climbed the Dufourspitze, also in Switzerland and its highest peak. All this is set against a love of watching sport, namely football (the endless frustration of supporting Newcastle United!) and cricket.”
