Ardent Launches New Financial Services Division

Financial recruitment group, Ardent Search and Selection has launched a financial services division, aimed at servicing the growth in credit, risk and compliance.

This development comes one year after Ardent Group was successfully established, through a management buyout of the Manchester, Leeds and Midlands operations of ECHM and Imprint Search & Selection.

Peter Brown, who will head up this new division, has a strong financial background with over 12 years’ experience. Peter worked with The Royal Bank of Scotland and N.M Rothschild & Sons, before joining the recruitment sector, where he has held positions with Robert Walters and Hannover Search and Selection.

On the launch of the financial services division, David Colgrave, chief executive, Ardent, comments: “The current market conditions have will undoubtedly lead to more legislation and regulation. As a result, many of the businesses we work with have requirements for skilled candidates in compliance and risk assessment. We feel this is a real growth area and are confident that this new division will help cater for the anticipated increase in demand in this sector.”
